Our 22-acre resort offers a quieter, more residential mountain setting east of Vail Village, with convenient access to outdoor recreation and two on-property stops for the Town of Vail’s free bus system. 

No. We are located in East Vail, a peaceful neighborhood just east of Vail Village. Guests can enjoy the natural surroundings and outdoor recreation of East Vail while remaining connected to Vail Village and Lionshead through the Town of Vail’s free bus system. 

Rather than traditional hotel rooms, we offer individually styled, condo-style accommodations with private entrances, full kitchens and separate living spaces. Guests also receive access to resort amenities, including our private Athletic Club, year-round heated lap pool, outdoor hot tubs, fitness facilities and seasonal racquet courts.

Yes. Our one-, two- and three-bedroom accommodations provide families with more space, full kitchens and separate living areas. On-site and nearby family-friendly features include a playground, BBQ and picnic area, year-round pool, seasonal tennis and pickleball, nearby Bighorn Park, bike paths and access to East Vail hiking trails. 

Check-in begins at 4:00 p.m. Mountain Time, and check-out is by 10:00 a.m. Mountain Time. Guests expecting to arrive after the reception area has closed should contact us in advance for after-hours check-in instructions.

Guests must be at least 21 years old to check in at Vail Racquet Club Mountain Resort. The guest completing the reservation and check-in should be prepared to present valid identification. 

No. Pets are not permitted in the resort’s rental accommodations. Guests traveling with a service animal should contact the resort directly before arrival to discuss their needs and the applicable accommodation process.

No. The condominium buildings have up to three levels and are accessed by stairs rather than elevators. Three-bedroom townhomes are also arranged across multiple levels. The resort states that it does not currently offer ADA-accessible rental units because of the property’s terrain, building design and individually owned accommodations. A one-bedroom condo is generally the most suitable option for a couple or solo traveler. These units feature a private bedroom with a queen bed, a full kitchen and a living area with a fireplace. Some one-bedroom condos also include a sleeper sofa.

Yes. Vail Racquet Club offers long-term rentals for periods of six months or longer. Availability and rental terms vary, so prospective long-term residents should contact the property for current options and requirements. 

Once full payment has been collected, the reservation becomes nonrefundable. Because payment and cancellation deadlines vary by season, guests should review the terms shown during booking and in their reservation confirmation before finalizing their stay. 

For ski-season stays, generally defined by the resort as mid-November through mid-April, full nonrefundable payment is due 14 days before arrival. During the remainder of the year, full nonrefundable payment is due three days before arrival. Guests should rely on the specific terms included with their reservation, as policies may change.

Reservation changes can generally be made without a modification fee when requested outside the applicable cancellation and payment window. Changes remain subject to availability, rate differences and the terms attached to the original reservation.

The 6,000-square-foot Athletic Club includes a fully equipped weight and cardio area, a year-round heated lap pool, outdoor hot tubs, locker rooms, saunas and steam rooms. Seasonal outdoor recreation includes seven tennis courts and three pickleball courts.

The Athletic Club and reception area are open from 6:00 a.m. to 9:00 p.m. Hours, class schedules and facility availability may change during holidays, maintenance periods or seasonal transitions, so guests should confirm the current schedule during their stay. 

Yes. The Athletic Club has a year-round heated outdoor lap pool with mountain views. The membership page identifies it as a 25-meter, five-lane pool. Temporary closures may occur for maintenance, weather or scheduled programming. 

The resort’s Athletic Club includes three outdoor hot tubs. They provide a place to relax and recover after skiing, hiking, biking or a workout. Current access rules and operating conditions should be confirmed with the Athletic Club.

East Vail provides access to several well-known trails, including Booth Creek, Deluge Lake, Bighorn and Gore Creek. The trails vary considerably in length, elevation gain and difficulty, so hikers should review current trail information, weather and seasonal conditions before departing.

Yes. The resort’s East Vail location places guests near mountain trails, Gore Creek and alpine scenery. Several trail areas can be reached through the local bus system, allowing guests to use the resort as a base for both moderate outings and more challenging mountain hikes.

Gore Creek runs through the East Vail area and provides nearby fishing opportunities. Anglers are responsible for obtaining any required Colorado fishing license and following current regulations, seasonal restrictions and catch limits. 

Yes. Vail Golf Club is approximately 2.8 miles from the resort and offers an 18-hole course surrounded by the Gore Range. Other courses in the broader Vail Valley include facilities in EagleVail and Beaver Creek. Tee times, seasonal operations and course conditions should be confirmed directly with each golf club. 

Winter activities in and around East Vail can include skiing and snowboarding at Vail Mountain, snowshoeing, winter walking and viewing the area’s seasonal ice formations and waterfalls. Eagle County Regional Airport, commonly identified by the airport code EGE, is the closest commercial airport to the resort. The property describes it as approximately a 35-minute drive away, although travel time varies with weather, road conditions and traffic.

Denver International Airport is approximately 125 miles east of the resort. Driving time varies significantly, especially during winter storms, holiday periods and heavy mountain traffic along Interstate 70. 

No. The resort does not operate its own airport shuttle. Guests may arrange transportation through third-party shuttle providers or rent a vehicle when traveling from Eagle County Regional Airport or Denver International Airport. 

There is no direct Town of Vail public bus service from Denver International Airport or Eagle County Regional Airport to the resort. Guests should arrange a commercial mountain shuttle, private transfer or rental car for airport transportation.

The resort does not operate a private village shuttle. However, two stops for the Town of Vail’s free public bus system are located on the property, making it possible to travel between East Vail, Vail Village and other served areas without driving.

The bus ride to the Vail Transportation Center near Bridge Street generally takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Actual travel time may vary based on the route, season, traffic and number of stops.

Yes. Guests who book directly through the resort receive complimentary parking for up to two vehicles per rental unit. The resort’s FAQ lists a charge of $50 per day for additional vehicles, but guests should confirm the current parking policy before arrival.

Take Exit 180 for East Vail. From the east, turn left onto Bighorn Road; from the west, turn right. Follow Bighorn Road for approximately one mile, turn right at Streamside Circle, continue east onto Meadow Drive and look for the resort entrance and main parking area on the left. 

A car can be useful for airport transportation and exploring destinations outside the Town of Vail bus network, but it is not essential for every stay. Guests can use the two on-property bus stops to reach Vail Village and other served locations, while nearby trails and recreation can be accessed from East Vail.
