A car can be useful for airport transportation and exploring destinations outside the Town of Vail bus network, but it is not essential for every stay. Guests can use the two on-property bus stops to reach Vail Village and other served locations, while nearby trails and recreation can be accessed from East Vail.
The resort does not operate a private village shuttle. However, two stops for the Town of Vail’s free public bus system are located on the property, making it possible to travel between East Vail, Vail Village and other served areas without driving.
No. The resort does not operate its own airport shuttle. Guests may arrange transportation through third-party shuttle providers or rent a vehicle when traveling from Eagle County Regional Airport or Denver International Airport.
Take Exit 180 for East Vail. From the east, turn left onto Bighorn Road; from the west, turn right. Follow Bighorn Road for approximately one mile, turn right at Streamside Circle, continue east onto Meadow Drive and look for the resort entrance and main parking area on the left.
Denver International Airport is approximately 125 miles east of the resort. Driving time varies significantly, especially during winter storms, holiday periods and heavy mountain traffic along Interstate 70.
The bus ride to the Vail Transportation Center near Bridge Street generally takes approximately 15 to 20 minutes. Actual travel time may vary based on the route, season, traffic and number of stops.
Yes. Guests who book directly through the resort receive complimentary parking for up to two vehicles per rental unit. The resort’s FAQ lists a charge of $50 per day for additional vehicles, but guests should confirm the current parking policy before arrival.
There is no direct Town of Vail public bus service from Denver International Airport or Eagle County Regional Airport to the resort. Guests should arrange a commercial mountain shuttle, private transfer or rental car for airport transportation.
