Nestled in the heart of Colorado’s Rocky Mountains, East Vail is the narrowest section of the Vail Valley, surrounded by 13,000-foot peaks. This unique resort property sits at the base of Vail Pass, with Gore Creek running through it and ice or waterfalls visible from the clubhouse. Lined by towering pines and the White River National Forest, East Vail offers a tranquil respite for locals and frequent guests who appreciate its unspoiled neighborhood feel.

As a starting point for several mountain hikes, East Vail also provides easy access to biking Vail Pass. This quiet community offers a peaceful retreat, whether for a short trip or a longer stay in the Vail Valley.

As residents of Vail, Colorado, it is crucial to respect the local land and environment. The Vail Recreation Center (VRC) is actively committed to sustainable, eco-friendly practices. We participate in Restore the Gore and maintain a certification with the Actively Green Program every year!  Our newest addition to our green initiatives: 8 ChargePoint, Level-2 charging stations ! While in the Valley, take advantage of the Town of Vail’s free bus system.  It’s very user friendly and take take you almost anywhere you may want to go!  How about an E-bike ride?  Shift Bikes offers a great way to get around town on an e-bike!

Stop for groceries just before you get to the resort at Sims Market and Liquor Store, right here in East Vail. Be sure to also dine at Apres Cafe– the Restaurant & Bar for East Vail conveniently located within the Vail Racquet Club.
